Contract Duration: Two years, subject to renewal
Duties and Responsibilities
  • Operates Gold Processing Circuit such as, crushing, grinding, carbon leach (CIL), elution, thickener and tailings circuit;
  • Reports all operating problems and hazards to the Supervisor;
  • Develops individual objectives/targets and performance standards as part of the individual performance agreement in consultation with the immediate superior and;
  • Plant operator will be reporting to Operations Shift Supervisor, must perform required tasks associated with the operation and monitoring of plant processes and equipment in a safe, effective and efficient manner according to established operating procedures, metallurgical guidelines and plant management directives.
  • Performs any other duties as might be assigned by the immediate superior

Human Resource Officer (01) Post
Work Station: Biharamulo Mine Site
Contract Duration: Two years, subject to renewal
Duties and Responsibilities
  • Reviews compliance with company governance regularities and management of risks;
  • Processes staff welfare issues e.g.; processing and approving leaves, loans and other staff claims;
  • Keeps and updates staff records;
  • Maintains and updates staff list;
  • Coordinates staff welfare e.g. registration of staff in pension funds, health insurance, sports and games;
  • Assists in administering workers’ salaries and related benefits;
  • Compiles and keeps employees’ disciplinary matters proceeding reports;
  • Monitors daily staff attendance and recommends solutions to resolve chronic attendance difficulties;
  • Performs any other duties as may be assigned from time to time by

CCTV Operator - (01) post
Work Station: Biharamulo Mine Site
Contract Duration: Two years, subject to renewal
Duties and Responsibilities
  • Ensures the necessary programs are functioning and reports all incidences on time as they occur;
  • Ensures that no any security member is in possession of private fire arm or traditional weapon while on duty
  • Conducts the daily checks of external and internal operating systems;
  • Detects and ensures no loss of product takes place inside the Process Plant;
  • Utilizes all available CCTV equipment to detect theft of product
  • Reports and records in a daily log all breaches and suspicious activities in accordance with SBM operational procedures;
  • Assists and advice on the development of CCTV procedures and equipment;
  • Performs any other duties as might be assigned by the immediate superior.

Supplies Technician - (01) post
Work Station: Biharamulo Mine Site
Contract Duration: Two years, subject to renewal
Duties and Responsibilities
  • Attends all routine supplies functions;
  • Reports regularly stock levels for enhancing timely replacement decisions;
  • Reports stores variances, theft incidences and damages;
  • Keeps and maintains stores records;
  • Sorts and counts materials received and posts/records the entries in Goods Received Note and respective stores ledgers and in bin cards;
  • Keeps and maintains bin cards for all items stored;
  • Posts stores transactions in bin cards as appropriate;
  • Loads and unloads materials;
  • Addresses all supplies related parcels and packages;
  • Issues materials against approved requisitions;
  • Restocks materials in bins;
  • Keeps and files copies of all accountable stores documents such as Material Requisition Notes, Goods Received Notes, LPOs, Delivery Notes, Credit/Debit Notes, copies of supply contracts and invoices;
  • Undertakes all stores clerical duties as may be assigned;
  • Packs and dispatches issued materials and maintains dispatch records;
  • Develops individual objectives /targets and performance standards as part of the individual performance agreement  in  consultation  with   the   immediate superior and;
  • Performs any other duties assigned by
