ABOUT US
Mwanamke na Uongozi is a Swahili phrase that is translated as ‘A Woman in Leadership’ in English. We are a sustainable development, non-profit and non-partisan civil society organization focused on contributing to achieving the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs 2030), through promoting gender equality and empowering women and girls from the age of 12 and above to step up and thrive in the leadership positions.
‘Mwanamke na Uongozi’ strives to step up in promoting women’s full and effective participation and equal opportunities for leadership at all level of decision-making through various programs that try to achieve social, political, legal and systemic change that addresses exclusion, marginalisation and discrimination against women and girls in the areas of leadership
